00 The role

Dirty hands, delivering clean work.

Location: Helmond
Department:
Production
Hours: 32 – 40 hours
Salary: €2,658.26 to €3,894.02 gross per month based on 40 hours

As a quality associate, you check the quality of our raw materials and finished products. That means you spend a lot of time in the lab. You perform analyses, process the results and ensure that reports are prepared. This involves using pH and EC meters, a flame photometer and performing moisture determinations and sieve analyses.

If you see an anomalous result, you investigate what is going on and contact the appropriate colleagues. Where necessary, you conduct an analysis of the causes. You work together with a colleague in the lab and coordinate the work between you. This ensures that raw materials and finished products are controlled in the correct way and that deviations are detected in time.

00 / Expectations

  1. This is how you work at Legro

At Legro we manage the entire production process in-house, giving us control over the whole supply chain from raw material to customer. Every link matters. Your work forms the foundation for the colleague who follows you, which is why you work in a small team with direct communication. Colleagues speak their minds, keep their promises and help each other when the pressure mounts.

As a quality worker, you work together with a colleague in the lab. You decide together which tests and analyses need to be performed. Together, you ensure that the work is carried out carefully. If you notice a deviation during an inspection, you do not let it go. You investigate what is going on. You also collaborate with the colleagues who are needed to get things going again. The work is precise, but also practical. You are therefore not just behind a desk; you do not mind getting your hands dirty while doing it.

  2. You bring this with you
    • Accuracy: You work precisely and have an eye for deviations and details.
    • Autonomy and overview: You see what needs to be done and take action when the quality deviates.
    • Ownership You vote directly with your colleague and follow through on agreements.
    • Can-do attitude: You are not afraid of getting dirty hands and you like to get to work.
  3. This is what you get from Legro
    • Salary: a gross monthly salary within the function scale of € 2,658.26 to € 3,894.02 based on 40 hours. Depending on knowledge and experience.
    • Free time: 24 days of annual leave and 3.5 ADV days, supplemented by any age-related leave days where applicable.
    • Travel expense allowance: €0.25 per kilometer. Yes, even from the first kilometer.
    • Development: opportunities to further develop yourself within the organization.
    • At work: Great colleagues, freedom and trust to do your job well.

00 / Over Legro

  1. Legro has been a family business for a hundred years, specialising in growing media and casing soil. Over four generations, we have grown into one of the largest producers of growing media in Europe and beyond. More than 170 colleagues work at our Dutch sites in Helmond, Asten and Cuijk. We are big enough to count on an international scale and compact enough to know each other. The communication channels are short and we tackle things together. Everyone takes responsibility for their own work and for the next link in the chain. This is how we create quality that growers worldwide can rely on.
