00 / Expectations

  1. This is how you work at Legro

At Legro we manage the entire production process in-house, giving us control over the whole supply chain from raw material to customer. Every link matters. Your work forms the foundation for the colleague who follows you, which is why you work in a small team with direct communication. Colleagues speak their minds, keep their promises and help each other when the pressure mounts.

As a Machine Operator, you work alongside a team in the packaging hall. From the bulk hall, the substrates are transported to your machines via conveyor belts. You ensure that they are packaged in the correct way. You work independently on your own machines, but also keep an eye on what is happening around you. If your machine is running smoothly and a colleague is busy, you help where necessary. You also coordinate practical matters, such as taking time off for a sick day or a personal matter, with the team and the team leader. This way, everyone knows what is going on and together you keep the production running smoothly.

    • Travel expense allowance: €0.25 per kilometer. Yes, even from the first kilometers.

00 / Over Legro

  1. Legro has been a family business for a hundred years, specialising in growing media and casing soil. Over four generations, we have grown into one of the largest producers of growing media in Europe and beyond. More than 170 colleagues work at our Dutch sites in Helmond, Asten and Cuijk. We are big enough to count on an international scale and compact enough to know each other. The communication channels are short and we tackle things together. Everyone takes responsibility for their own work and for the next link in the chain. This is how we create quality that growers worldwide can rely on.
