00 The role

Knowing what the assignment is, seeing what your work produces.

Production
Hours: Discussable
Salary: According to the age scales of the collective bargaining agreement for professional transport

As a Saturday worker, you help keep our production hall and grounds spotless. You take on various tasks and help where necessary. You clean the production hall, keep the grounds tidy, and help with small packing tasks.

The work is varied and especially practical: you get your hands dirty and at the end of the day you see what you have accomplished. You work together with other Saturday workers and our operators. This way you help keep the workplace tidy and the production can continue smoothly.

You ensure that the premises remain neat and tidy.

  • Helping with packing

You assist with small packaging tasks in production.

  • Cleaning the production hall

You help keep the shed clean and organized.

  • Intervention where necessary

You take on various practical tasks and help where extra hands are needed.

00 / Expectations

  1. This is how you work at Legro

At Legro we manage the entire production process in-house, giving us control over the whole supply chain from raw material to customer. Every link matters. Your work forms the foundation for the colleague who follows you, which is why you work in a small team with direct communication. Colleagues speak their minds, keep their promises and help each other when the pressure mounts.

You work in the production hall and on the premises in Helmond or Asten. You do this together with other Saturday workers and operators. There is work to be done, but there is also room for a joke in between. You take on the work that needs to be done that day. That way you just get involved in the production on Saturdays. And that way you contribute to your colleagues who are working there on a daily basis.

  2. You bring this with you
    • Age: You are 16 years old or older.
    • Place of residence: You live in the Helmond or Asten region.
    • Action: You like to get your hands dirty and take on practical work.
    • Working together: You can work independently, but also together with colleagues.
    • Forklift certificate: You have a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one.
  3. This is what you get from Legro
    • Salary: according to the age scales of the CAO Beroepsgoederenvervoer.
    • Development: opportunities to Legro further develop or grow within yourself.
    • Learning: If necessary, you can obtain your forklift certification or learn other new things.
    • Great colleagues: You work together with colleagues and there is room for a joke in between.

00 / Over Legro

  1. Legro has been a family business for a hundred years, specialising in growing media and casing soil. Over four generations, we have grown into one of the largest producers of growing media in Europe and beyond. More than 170 colleagues work at our Dutch sites in Helmond, Asten and Cuijk. We are big enough to count on an international scale and compact enough to know each other. The communication channels are short and we tackle things together. Everyone takes responsibility for their own work and for the next link in the chain. This is how we create quality that growers worldwide can rely on.
