00 The role

Knowing what the assignment is, seeing what your work produces.

Location: Cuijk
Department:
Production
Hours: 40 hours
Salary: €2,658.26 to €3,894.02 gross per month based on 40 hours

At our production site, Legro Mushroom Casing Solutions (MCS) in Cuijk, you work on the production of soil for mushroom cultivation. From your loader, you process and mix the raw materials. You also ensure that they end up in the correct bunkers. This keeps the mixing, loading, and packaging lines filled.

You follow the production planning and keep a close eye on your loader. With technical insight, you ensure that you can work with it safely and reliably every day. If a boat arrives with raw materials, you make sure that they end up in the right place. You work a lot from your loader, but not alone. Is it busy at the packing or loading line? Then you step aside and help your colleagues where necessary. You end up in a small but nice team.

00 / Your contribution to the mix

  • Processing raw materials

You process and mix the raw materials. Thanks to you, they end up in the right bunkers.

  • Taking on raw materials

If a boat arrives with raw materials, you ensure that the cargo is unloaded at the appropriate location.

  • Technical insight

You know the operation and maintenance of your loader. In addition, you monitor whether it remains technically functioning.

  • Intervention where necessary

Is the packing or loading line busy? Then you get off your loader and help your colleagues continue.

00 / Expectations

  1. This is how you work at Legro

At Legro we manage the entire production process in-house, giving us control over the whole supply chain from raw material to customer. Every link matters. Your work forms the foundation for the colleague who follows you, which is why you work in a small team with direct communication. Colleagues speak their minds, keep their promises and help each other when the pressure mounts.

As a loader mechanic, you work at our production site MCS. Here we make the ground for the mushroom cultivation. The site is large, but the team you work with daily is small. Much of your work is done independently from your loader. At the same time, your work is directly related to that of your colleagues on the mixing, loading and packaging lines. Therefore, you coordinate what is needed and jump in when things get busy. And a joke on time? That’s fine here.

  2. You bring this with you
    • Technical insight: You have affinity with large earthmoving machines and understand how a loader works.
    • Independence: You like working independently and seeing what needs to be done. You get involved when the planning or process deviates from the plan.
    • Good communication: You work very independently, but quickly switch with colleagues when necessary.
    • Can-do attitude: You see the work ahead and also help out outside your loader to get the job done.
  3. This is what you get from Legro
    • Salary: a gross monthly salary within the function scale of € 2,658.26 to € 3,894.02 based on 40 hours. Depending on knowledge and experience.
    • Free time: 24 days of annual leave and 3.5 ADV days, supplemented by any age-related leave days where applicable.
    • Travel expense allowance: €0.25 per kilometer. Yes, even from the first kilometers.
    • Development: opportunities to Legro further develop or grow within yourself.
    • Personal workplace: You operate your own loader and are responsible for its daily use.

00 / Over Legro

  1. Legro has been a family business for a hundred years, specialising in growing media and casing soil. Over four generations, we have grown into one of the largest producers of growing media in Europe and beyond. More than 170 colleagues work at our Dutch sites in Helmond, Asten and Cuijk. We are big enough to count on an international scale and compact enough to know each other. The communication channels are short and we tackle things together. Everyone takes responsibility for their own work and for the next link in the chain. This is how we create quality that growers worldwide can rely on.
