Our Legro culture
Legro. A proud and independent family business with around 300 employees. With it’s origin dating back to 1924, the fourth generation of Swinkels is currently at the helm. At Legro, we can say that we are obsessed with raw materials. With as much passion as our customers, we work every day to produce the best, custom-made substrates and casing soil for soft fruit, vegetable and mushroom growers around the world.
Within Legro, we say what we do and do what we say. In fact, we are very passionate. Our lines of communication are short, which ensures that we continue to build together in an informal way. We work together, laugh together and if necessary we cry together. We share our successes and learn from our mistakes.
‚Can’t do‘ has not found its place here either. Together, we always look for a solution, for the customer as for our employees. In doing so, we regularly lend each other a helping hand and learn from each other’s qualities. Curious as we are, we always look for what lies beyond the horizon. In doing so, we always use our common sense, something we and our customers have been able to trust on for almost 100 years.
